Hunt with some of the best dogs and guides around. Guiding for upland bird hunts in northeast Texas and southeast Oklahoma for quail, chuckar and pheasants. I have known, hunted with and sent many a hunter to Emerson over the years and have had zero complaints! He has some top notch ranches for archery, gun and bird hunts. He will get you on the game and the rest is up to you!!
I have been to the JB ranch several times with Emerson ARCHERY hunting javelina (they have feral hogs too). This place is great more javelina than you can imagine and pretty nice sleeping accomodations. Watching all of the Big Bucks on the ranch will make you consider one of the Whitetail hunts. We usually go as a group of 10 or so and everyone has a good time.
Went on a European style pheasant hunt/shoot with Emerson and what a hoot it was. Bring plenty of shells!
I was introduced to Emerson through a fellow hunter who originally lived in Kansas City, MO. The first hunt with Emerson was on the JB Ranch archery hunting for javelinas and hogs. I took my limit of javelinas, and was thrilled with the experience that I received. I have made return trips as well. The living quarters at the JB Ranch were very accommodating.
Additional hunts with Emerson have been in Oklahoma for a pheasant hunt. This was my first tower hunt and I really enjoyed it. Our group took home the limit of birds allowed.
As a women hunter, Emerson is top notch. He took the time to be patient & understanding with me during every hunt.
