My name is Jc Gwynne or “The Amistad Man” as some of you have come to know me on the Texas Fishing Forum.  I have had the pleasure and great fortune to be raised on Lake Amistad which I have fished for the past 25 years. I have seen Lake Amistad at it's highest and lowest levels and I am prepared to show you Lake Amistad like you have never seen her before.

I have gained a wealth of knowledge over the years from not only fishing Lake Amistad but fishing tournament trails all over Texas to bring you an awesome learning experience on what the fishing industry has labled the best BIG BASS lake in the state. LAKE AMISTAD!

Here at Cast Away Guide Service our goal is to provide anglers of all ages and expertise an experience that they will remember forever. In recent years, thanks largely to huge stringers being posted by tournament pros, the potential to catch big fish on Lake Amistad has become nationally known. Today, virtually every bass angler in the nation knows this sprawling impoundment spanning the Texas/Mexico border on the outskirts of Del Rio is capable of producing fish of vast proportions.
