Over a thirty-year period, Chuck has managed to master the ability to sight-fish the shallows of this extraordinarily productive fishery. White Ankle Charters specializes in sight fishing for Speckled Trout, Redfish, Flounder and other species. We also specialize in bird watching and White-wing & Morning dove Hunting.

Since the age of eleven, Captain Charles W. Fultz has been fishing the Lower Laguna Madre: the span of water that begins north of Port Mansfield and extends down to South Padre Island; Where it leads into the Gulf of Mexico. Over this thirty year period, Chuck has managed to master the ability to sight-fish the shallows of this extraordinarily productive fishery. Since this span of water only averages around three feet in depth, fishing is done on a thirteen foot Dargel Skooter for a single client and on a twenty-one foot Dargel Skout for larger groups.
