Additional Information

Overview:

Captain Jack “Jackie” Campbell was born and raised in Seadrift, Texas. Fishing and hunting from an early age, Jackie has an intimate knowledge of the Coastal Bend bay systems from Port O’Connor to Rockport.  With 40 years of sightcasting experience, he guides in a custom skiff he built himself that is designed to put fly fishermen in casting distance to big redfish and trout. Jack also fishes out of an 18' Gordon Waterman.

Jack caters primarily to Fly Fishing clients. He will also guide parties who wish to use light conventional tackle. If clients do not have Fly Fishing equipment, Jackie can furnish everything necessary, although individuals can use their own gear.

Fishing will take place primarily in the Port O’Connor, Seadrift, and Rockport bay systems. Species of fish that are reasonably available include redfish, spotted seatrout, drum, sheepshead, jackfish, and tarpon.

What You Should Bring:  Texas fishing license, saltwater stamp, polarized sunglassses, lunch and drinks, wading boots, sunblock, hat, and rainjacket.
