Overview:

This Ranch produces Trophy Bucks.  Three Bucks over 180 gross B&C have been taken from this and ajoining ranches over the past three years. Many more Trophies were seen but not taken. It's in an area with very little hunting pressure. A river that flows 365 days a year is the SE border. All the wells produce a lot of water, up to 500 gallons per minute.

The canals from the river are open to the ranch 4-5 days per month. The abundant water irrigates the food plots and the natural high protien food sources and habitat on the ranch. This, along with corn feeders and feeding the roads are drawing deer from surrounding areas. Our population and buck to doe ratio is very good. The number and percentage of matures bucks are growing every year.

We will have good deer stands most with corn feeders and some with food plots. Roads and senderos will be corned before every hunt. Corning roads several days a week is started months before deer season. Hunting is done from stands. No high-racking, so fewer bucks are mis-judged and wounded. Less mature bucks become totally nocturnal helping hunters chances of taking a trophy.  Deer associate the sound of a vehicle with the feeding of corn instead of danger. Hunters saw as many young 10 pts as 8 pts. last season means  our genitics are good. Having the only irrigated food plots in the area with the most water, we have the best nutrition!   Age + Nutrition+ Genetics = TROPHIES, WE HAVE IT!
