Overview:

Palmetto Guide Service is a full time professional outfitter specializing in freshwater fishing and waterfowl hunting.
Palmetto Guide Service offers fishing on Lake Livingston and Lake Conroe in East Texas for Black Bass, White Bass, and Catfish.
Palmetto Guide Service offers mallard, wood duck and teal hunting on the Trinity River bottoms and Navasota River bottoms. We offer Snow goose and pintail  hunting on the Katy Prairie region southwest of Houston.
  The Trinity and Navasota river bottoms and Katy Prairie, Texas are  in the heart of the central flyway and annually winter one of the largest waterfowl populations in The USA.  We hunt a large variety of puddle ducks, diving ducks and geese.

 

Methods Allowed: Fly Fishing, Bow Fishing, Spin-Cast

Game available: Fresh Water Fish: Bass - Largemouth, Bass - White (Sand), Bass - Smallmouth, Catfish - Channel

Texas Parks and Wildlife Department Licensed Professional Guide Service Serving Lake Livingston and Lake Conroe. Lake Livingston is one of the premier White Bass destinations in the world.  White Bass 12 to 15 inches and 25 fish per person limits are common.  (The Lake Livingston record white bass is 4.12 lbs, 21 inches). 

Lake Livingston is famous for its incredible White Bass spring spawn fishing on the river and northern tributary creeks.  Spawning Whites move up the river by the thousands beginning generally in January with peak fishing in February through the middle of March.

Late spring and summer, White Bass move back into the main lake where we fish structure, troll, and chase birds looking for schooling fish.
 
Guided Fishing Trips - ( Full day 2 person /8 hours) $300.00 (Half day 2 person /4 hours) $250.00. $50.00 for one additional person.  All guided trips include fuel and ice.  Fish cleaned on request.  Lures provided at minimal additional charge.   BRING: Favorite Rod and Reel, Beverages, Snacks, Fishing License.  Rod and Reels provided with advance notice.
