DOG After several months of researching, finding a good breeder, and getting a deposit down, I am finally getting my first gun dog.  The pup is a Wirehaired Pointing Griffon out of the "A" litter of AspenGlow Kennels in Wisconsin.  Here is a picture of the dam, Belle, and the pups at around 3 weeks (they are six weeks now but I don't have any more recent pics yet).  I have #3 pick and will be getting our pup the first weekend in August.  Plan to try and train myself and I am really looking forward to it.

Here is a pic of one of the available pups at 6 weeks -- as you can see, they change quickly and the wirehair is beginning to come through.  The litter turns 8 weeks on Wednesday and I pick up my pup this coming weekend.  I'll post pics of the pup I end up selecting once I get back.

Well, I ended up selecting the pup that is two photos above this post.  His name is Arrow and at 12 pounds plus (8 1/2 weeks) he is growing fast.
