Me too! What I do and you may think about, is approaching the big game ranches close to you that have hogs. Alot of times, they don't have time to do hog removal before the deer hunting clients come in. As you know, if the hogs show up under the feeders, the deer don't! The want them exterminated! Maybe offer also to do a little work for them like help fill feeders for or with them.

I need hunters at my place.... But it's in south texas.... We have a hog problem, but it seems when we go out to hunt hogs they like to disappear! ;) This weekend we took a shot at a boar that was with some turkeys, but with the river being flooded like it has been we haven't been able to hunt the other part of the ranch. Anyone interested in hunting for hogs?

About 50 miles south of San Antonio right off of I37 in Campbellton, TX. The Atascosa River made it kind of hard to do any hunting this weekend, but as soon as it goes back down it should be good hunting. These pics are from a couple years ago and they are still multiplying! =(

I forgot to mention there are 19 in this group, hard to see from the pics. This past season the groups varied up to about 32 in a group. If anyone is interested, maybe we could work something out! =)

You can count us in! I'll even help with set up for others, filling feeders, etc. I hunt south and I'm familiar with the terrain. I do hog removal for other ranches here in the hillcountry, and can provide you with references. Hey Ash what yall might try to do is build a large hog trap out of lot paneling and some T post.  Then once you catch about 10 or so of them put an add in the paper for "Feral hogs for sale 20$ a piece"   Or you could sell hog hunts on eBay and make a little money.  If I was farther south I would offer to elimnate them all free of charge but San Antonio is about 150 miles from me and I dont think I could afford the gas to get down there and back long enough to make a dent in there numbers.  But good luck

I am brand spanking new to this forum and Texas in general, thanks to the US Army.

I am stationed in San Antonio at Ft. Sam Houston and if you need help on your ranch for hog hunting I would be more than willing to help on weekends.  I could help guide hunters for deer, build fence you name it I am an old farm boy from Illinois looking for a place to hunt.  Not too interested in deer hunting but hogs and some of these exotics that roam around this state have me excited.  Would love to have a Javelina and nice hog mount to hang on the wall.

Sorry guys, dove season just opened up and with deer season around the corner we are gonna have to hold off on the hog massacre for a little while. Believe me, I am gonna shoot my fair share of hogs even if deer season is open! So for right now I can have my battles, and maybe in the spring I can have my little "massacre" =)
