I am just curious as to how long it take a puppy to get control of his bowel movements?  it is kinda a gross subject but I am a little worried about him.  He is not taking solids dumps, they are runny and today he took a runny one in his kennel and my wife was very mad because I was ar work.  She has to clean it up.  He was taking solid ones for a few weeks and now he has regressed back to the liquid state.  Any help would be much appreciated!  Sorry if I runied any of your dinner!  :)

You might want to take him to the vet just to be safe. I would think that his bowel movements should be solid at this point.

I agree with gman on this one unless you've changed his diet at all I think something might be wrong with the little one.

Even a slight change in diet can upset his stomache.

Here are 2 "old wives" tales:

1)  Add some Kraft Mac & Cheese to his food.  (This recently worked for my pup).

2)  Add a few (literally just a few drops) of pepto bismal or kaopectate to his food.  Too much will have negative affects but a few drops will help.
