Well we got Waco today.  Had him now for about 8 hours and he has only peed in the house one time and dropped one huge bomb on the tile.  Thank God it was on the tile because it was massive :)  He is very cute and a sleeper right now.  Ill post a new pic of him on the pillow my wife made for his arrival.

Thanks,

Danny

Well I am about to hit the hay for the night.  Waco has been breathing funny, really fast and panting some.  Do you think its the new environment or do all Labs do that?  He also did not want to eat.  he finallly ate some food at about 10pm and its now 12.30 so I hope he has digested it.  Later guys,

I can use all the advice you can give,

Danny G

Well I made it through another night with Waco.  He cries in his kennell so dang much it is driving us batty.  I put him in there last night at 10 and he was crying at 10:30.  My wife made me go sleep on the couch with him until he quit crying.  I woke up still on the couch at 2:30 and he was sleeping on me.  He is a funny little pup.  I took him out to do his business and then got him to sleep again then put him back in the kennell and he was crying again in 15 minutes so I spent the rest of the night on the couch with him at my feet.  At least we both finally got some sleep! :)  Do any of you have any suggestions as to how to break him of crying?  Thanks guys.

I think you have taken more photos of your dog than I did of my second kid.......

The quick breathing is that he is nervous.  I responded to another post a few minutes ago about the same issue.  He is away from all his littermates and needs some comforting  - in a matter of days he'll be able to sleep by himself.

Just remember - wives can come or go, but a good dog is hard to find!!!!!  LOL
