ok i have a question i have access to about 87 acres to  hunt on an stuff.  when the cattle isnt running it anyway.  there is surrounding pasture   and fields an its at the base of a hill. here in the abilene area  and im wondering how often can i call it before. the coyotes an cats get used to the calls?  also  there is a spot across the road that runs a creek i can hunt but its small areas

i dont have access to 1000 acres are anything but i think what i got is better than nothing.  my  dad always hears yotes out there  an stuff an i whould like to try doing this some time.  so how often could i do this  before the predators got used to the calls.

i just got my self an ar-15 so i want to play with it some it needs to draw some blood hehe

im kinda new to the calling  thing so  not sure about some of this stuff

I wouldn't worry about it. If a call stops producing switch to a different brand or sound. Where I am I can't call on up. We have a County Trapper and they get hunted hard. They say if a young coyote is with an older coyote that shows no intrest in a call. That 2 you will never call. At least with that sound.

Hope this helps

Casey, you have access to more acreage than you think. Nothing wrong with calling predators from the neighbors pasture to yours. Just make sure they are on your side of the fence. Some times that call will reach a mile or more over a fence. Predators will hang up on a tight fence also.
