I JUST GOT INTO NEW LEASE OFF 359 NEAR HEBRONVILLE IN DUVAL CO.  DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW GOOD THE TURKEY & DEER HUNTING IS IN THIS AREA? OR IF YOU EVER HUNTED IN THIS AREA GIVE ME YOUR THOUGHTS ON HOW GOOD THE HUNTING IS

We hunt just east of Benavides and in my opinion your in "prime time" especially for hog hunting.  We have a creek that runs through the property and have a good turkey population.  There have been many good bucks shot at the ranch in the past years.  I think alot has to do with the wildlife management program that is being implemented on your lease, do yall plant food plots, feed year round, provide plenty of water and disk / mow the ranch.  If you do all the above then your lease should be attracting wildlife to your lease, good luck!!!
