HEY THERE FELLOW HUNTERS I HAVE A QUESTION ON SOLAR PANELS. IN ORDER FOR SOLAR PANELS TO CHARGE BATTERIES DOES IT HAVE TO BE A SUNNY DAY WITH DIRECT SUNLIGHT OR WILL THEY STILL CHARGE BATTERIES ON CLOUDY RAINY DAYS ? HOPE SOMEBODY COULD HELP ME OUT WITH THIS 1. THANKS

They will still get some charge even on cloudy days, just make sure panel is exposed to southern direction for optimal exposure.

They get more light on average when pointed towards the south true, however solar panels today are not the same panels of 15 years ago. I build winch feeders and when I mount mine I mount it to the timer box under the barrel and they get more than enough light to keep the battery charged, You do not have to be as concerned today as much as in years past because the panels have gotten much better.
