Howdy! There are lots of raccoons almost everywhere in Texas. If you shot a 1000 of them at your corn feeder, it would not put a dent in their population. Coon proof feeders will help some, but once the corn is on the ground, they will have access to it. Best of luck!  Always, Gene

You can't eradicate them, some will always show back up. About all you can do is keep trapping them and shooting them in the area of your feeders to keep the numbers down as much as you can.
