Anyone ever fish Joe Pool Lake? Wife and I drove around yesterday and found a nice campground for the RV, lake looked like it should have some good crappie fishin and for me---'OL MR. WHISKERS, We'll just have to check it out.

Hornhunter, how about these for mr.whiskers? Crappie are good too this time of year. We are 9-14ft for cats and 20-35ft for crappie here on Conroe.

We've fished Joe Pool several times, and a friend of mine has lived near there and fished it for years.  We've never really done very well, but rule No. 1 appears to be "don't fish there on the weekends".
