On Dec 6, my son and I were hunting on the pipeline in SHNF on Stubblefield lake rd. just north of the lake. When it was time to go and we were packing everything up both our guns were resting on the rear tire. I put mine in its case and I expected him to load his up either in the front of the cab with us or in the case as he had done all weekend. Since he is only 13 I should have went behind him and made sure everything was in the truck. Anyway the gun was left resting on the rear tire and I drove away. We live 2 hrs away and I made an immediate trip back but as I feared, no gun. I know there are some good honest folks out there and we would appreciate it so much if someone knows of someone finding a 243 at SHNF on Stubblefield Lake Rd. Thank you.

We were probably gone about 2 hours before I thought to ask if he had put his gun up.
