Trust me on this one.  You want to make absolutely sure that if this ever happens to you that you make sure you set the deer free immediately.

My brother caught a doe accidentially a few years ago and turned it loose.  However, word got around that he'd caught a deer and after a few days the Game Warden paid him a visit. 

Nothing came of it but you still want to make sure you cover yourself.

Cant believe that buck is not totaly freaking out. We have caught 2 in hog snares. Release was exiting to say the least. A couple weeks ago we cuaght a doe and yearling in a pig trap. As soon as they figured out someone was close they flipped out. Amazing strength!!! Moma was picking up a 200 lb cage w/ every thrust.

We have caught 2 very nice bucks in pig traps. One in '08 and one in '09.......both in January after our deer season had ended. One was very agitated and flat angry about being in the trap and when he did come out of the trap we had to get somewhere cause he was coming to get us!!! LOL!! I guess they are so dragged down from the breeding season that they are desperate for food. I recon we will see if we make it three years in a row. If I can find the pics I will post.......

nice deer. what's you do with it?

We have caught 1 doe in our trap this year and we developed an item to be able to release the deer with no harm. Also our traps, a buck that size would jump out of and not be harmed.
