i bought some monarch brass case, boxer primed 243 and it shoots identical to the federal blue box. i can't complain

wow cant believe it this is a staple brand for everything i have and no problems.

maybe it was just a bad batch there.

I swear  sir, I have  shot  the  stuff  in a 270, 308and  30-06  and  I have  not  been happy  with it. I have  had  misfires  in ALL three  calibers and  groups  that  were spread  all over  a  pie  plate  at  100 yards. I have  not  had  any  problems  with the  other  just  that  brand  and  not  one  gun I own likes  it.

i have used this ammo in my 223 AR and they shot great, so i tried them in my rem. 7400- 270 and they shot 1 1/2" group at 100 yrds. i killed a decent 7pt open weekend on public land. shot him at 30 yards went down where he stood, hit right behind the shoulder bullet fragmented inside, turned the heart and lungs to jello found most of the core in the opposite shoulder no pass through, but it did what i wanted. no missfires as of yet with either caliber (fingers crossed). paid $13 for the 270 and $9 for the 223.

I agree with mrbigtexan. i shoot it in my .243 and also the blue federals... shoots the same for me

horrible product, don't waste your money on them. my dad and myself bought three boxes of monarch in 9mm. shot out of a beretta 92FS they dropped 8 inches at 25 ft, and did not have enough recoil to make the (freshly cleaned) 92 cycle. poor , poor product
