Here's a pic of the 12 point I shot last week. This was the first season that I used a trail camera by my feeder to see what was poking around. After catching this haus on camera on more than one occasion, I decided to hunt there the next morning. Low and behold he trotted out around the same time he was caught on camera the previous two days. I couldn't believe it. I made a real easy shot from about 130 yards while he was munching on some corn by the feeder. He should have been a 13 point but one of his G1's were broken off. This was on my family's land in Jewett TX (Leon County). I think I'll continue to use the trail camera from now on.

SHAKE Great looking East Texas buck! I used to hunt a lease near Centerville in Leon County for years. Glad to see some of the same gene pool is still running around down there....or was! Congrats!

I was raised and lived in Leon County most of my life and killed lots of deer there. Congrats on a good Leon County deer wher in the county was you hunting?? Good deer!

larrymeador.....Yeah, he helped me out a litlle bit but was a little grossed out when I cut the bucks tongue off for the picture cause it was hanging out. He pretty much stayed in the truck when I field dressed him too, lol.
