Do any of yall have camo your kids have outgrown?
I have a need for some kids camo if anyone has any laying around unused. My nephew has been raised by his mother(my sister inlaw)since he was born with no father around.
I have taught him to fish, hike, camp and various other man activities..
And now he is old enough for me to teach him to hunt
His mother does not have the money to buy him any of his hunting supplies and unfortunately I don't have the money at this time either.
He wears 13-14 kids pants and large shirts.
Thanks'
Budd

Good luck and happy hunting!

Budd, that's awesome that you've done that for him.  I was fortunate enough to have a father to show me the ropes and 2 Marine uncles to give me the camo, mummy sleeping bags, etc.  Before I was 12, I couldn't fit in the camo so I just wore whatever was warm.  Its cold in WV this time of year.  My father was more concerned with dressing me in blaze orange.  It was for my safety and WV law requires 400 sq. inches of blaze orange during rifle season.  At that age, I was too noisy and talkative anyway for a deer to approach.  So that's why he started me out w/ squirrels and a .410 to get me started.  We didn't use blinds or feeders and the morning sun would make our blaze orange glow.  We always killed deer this way just as long as we quiet and still.  I'd just sit at the base of a tree or behind a bush.  Only wearing a plaid flannel shirt and a pair of jeans, my dad brought home many meals.  I remember going home on leave from the Army and camo was last thing I wanted to wear.  I'd just wear whatever was warm and put on a blaze orange cap and vest.  I killed 3 deer this way.  My point is, I don't think it really matters what you wear unless your bowhunting.  My dad just told me to shut up and sit still and we...he shot deer.

To finally answer your question. Yes. I have a Walls youth size 12 zip up coat.  Its somewhat insulated w/ a hood and it's advantage timber camo.  I think the neighbor kid outgrew it.  I also have a couple of blaze orange hunting vests and a hat he can have.  I also have a couple pair of my woodland Army BDU pants he can have.  They're medium-regular though. Cuff em and use a belt...lol. I live in Leander just north of Austin.  The stuff is his if he wants it.  Email me
