By the way, this is in Parker County - just west of Fort Worth. He is in the country - most of his neighbors are on a few acres (5 or so). We've seen a few nice deer come through on camera in the past, but this one really got my blood flowing. I have bow hunted about 4 times this season and have only seen a young 4 pt out there.

That is a huge deer and I live in Parker county. Hmmm. lol

What a deer!!!  Can't tell whether that's a forked tine on the left side or if he's a true 5 x 5.  If he's that figure he'd go into 150s possibly more.  Pretty good mass and palmated antler on the right side too.  He looks maybe 5.5-6.5 years old, but kinda hard to tell.

A shooter for sure and will probably score in the 150 range (or very close). Good luck and be sure to post up pictures after he hits the ground.

Tell your FIL that, as a gesture of friendship, I will be happy to come to his house and remove this pesky critter for him.  If he gives me a bed and feeds me, I won't even charge him for removing the varmint from his land.  What a nice guy I am!

I appreciate the offer Banzai, but I think I will try to remove this critter myself.

Here are a couple of other angles.

I'd still think upper 140s into the 150s, and the age at 5.5-6.5 is about right.  Sure hope you get a crack at him.
