OK, No pics yet but I have an older model Rem 788 in .223 that is a tack driver, what ever that means.  I bought it at a gun show way back when for $126 and it, with a little help from me, slayed many a varmit.  It will go to one of the grandkids if any of them show an interest.  Did my fair amount of experimenting with hand loads to try and not tear up the pelts back in the early eighty's.  Seems that slow and soft points or fast and hollow points seems to work the best.  SP's little hole in, little hole out.  HP little hole in ???? no hole out, if your lucky.  If you get an exit hole the throw the pelt away cause ther is a BIG HOLE out.  Hornady Match 53gr. Match BTHP as close to max as possible and shoot for the sholder not the rib cage, heads are even better.  With the SP's loaded down around 2800fps seems to work really great and very, very accurate.
