We had a fella fly in from Minnesota and another hunter drive in from D/FW for last nights hunt. Super wet conditions in the bottoms on Friday night, taught Clark and I something, so we stayed on the high ground. This resulted in acorns that are not rotten, no ground fog, and easy driving conditions. We started the night off right, 2 boars feeding under the pin oaks. Followed up by two more boars doing the same thing. Then we found the mother load, two sounder groups trying to merge together to form a group of 25 or so. We made the decision, to cut them off and take our chances with a group of 12. We made the right choice, when it was all said and done, we had 6 down. Take a few pics and then wer rolled on and found one more lone boar, to end the night with 11.
