Just got back from a trip to North Dakota...saw all this just driving down the road.  These were some geese coming off a lake at a Federal Wildlife Preserve just east of Killdeer, ND

These were some Canadians in a wheat field east of New Town, ND, with a few Snows mixed-in.  Man, I wished I had had a shotgun.

These were some Sandhill Cranes coming off wheatfields southwest of Minot, ND.  Litterally there were thousands of them out there.
