That is awesome!  Congratulations.  That must have been intense.  Did ya'll get any video of the hunt?

Na no video. We had a base camp at the bottom of the mountain and the day before opening day we backpacked up to the top and setup a spike camp. Then opening morning we were about a 1/4 mile from our hunting spot and we hunted a canyon all day. Well, about mid-day i spotted a bull about 800 yards away going into a thick set of pines so i went to try to intercept him and instead ended up spooking up a heard of cows and this one sat there and stared at me from about 25 yards away so i blasted her! It was hard to miss, my whole scope was filled with fur haha.

Anway after that i had to hike all that meat, one piece at a time back to our main camp 2 miles away....it was Hard work, but very intense and extremely rewarding!
