anyone try "Acorn Rage " ?

I have heard good things but I never have had much luck in the past with any kind of food other than plain corn. But with that said not one deer has been to my feeder since the acorns started to fall.

Our deer are strange, sometimes they won't bother with the acorns and go straight for the corn, other times, you can't get them near the corn....so a few times we've tried attractants to see if we could get them to come out.

We tried Acorn Rage, and another "Big Name" attractant, and some deer did stop to smell Acorn Rage, but we never saw them eat it, the other one, they didn't pay any attention to at all.

We were tried of spending the money on expensive products, so we started making our own and had such great results, we're thinking about selling it, and it will be priced so that average hunter can afford it, and that way if it doesn't work for someone, you haven't wasted a lot of money! But we are trying to find some more people to test it for us first.

I've had a few friends try Acorn Rage and one loves it, (he hunts on land with no oaks) the other 3 never saw a deer touch it and hunt where acorns are abundant. Deer are like TX weather, unpredictable, to say the least lol!

I have tried some different things in the past.I bought some of the Cmere Deer last year.It should name it run away deer. I put corn out in  two long piles put nothing on one Cmere deer on other.Plain corn all gone next day the Cmere was not touched. It was still there two weeks later.I contacted the Cmere deer people and told them what I tried, never got a reply .I am trying the Rage this weekend just to see what happens.

keep us posted about your own stuff .I would be glad to try.

I know it sounds crazy, but a buddy of mine fills up his feeder, then pours about 2 quarts of soy sauce over the top of it.  The soy sauce runs down and coats a lot of the corn.  He says' the deer absolutely love it and since he buys the soy sauce by the gallon at Sam's, it doesn't cost an arm & a leg.

Psssst...Wheelgun, C'mere deer is the "Big Name" one I was referring to.....We call it "Steer Clear Deer" LOL!! We're convinced it contained Deer-repellant!  I think its funny that in their commercial with the big buck attacking the bag full of it on the tree, if you look closely that big buck has a tag in his ear....probably been fed nothing but that since he was born...if it's even their product in that bag!!

Larry, I actually had a friend in high school and he and his dad swore by the soy sauce idea. They used the all-you-can-eat barrels on the ground not automatic feeders.  A word of caution, when they switched to automatic feeders it ruined them. Also had another friend that broke her automatic feeder with soy sauce.....it gummed up the casting mechanism as it was threw out the sticky corn. Maybe pouring some over a pile of corn would work?? But that's funny, I haven't found many people who had heard of the "Asian-style" corn! LOL!!

Also, if anyone would seriously like to help us out and test some of our products, or know someone who might want to:

We're looking for a few people who must be honest, have access to land with game cameras set up, be able to take notes on the results, and send us pictures and your observations. We've had great results and so have afew frinds who tried it, but we don't want to rip anybody off, so we want more testing before we decide to seel it. If it doesn't work well, we can just put this idea to bed.....Just shoot me an email if interested!  cynvamp@aol.com

Thanks guys, any help is much appreciated!
Cynthia

only luck i have had is "oil of anise" in southwest texas. tried it in east texas and didnt work at all. you can find oil of anise in baking dept. where vanilla extract is. it is cheap and you just pour it over your corn. it smells like licorish. anything you use will take time for deer to get use to it.
