I recently planted several food plots on my land in Cass County. I belive one was called Shot Plot and One was called No Till. Anyway, I have thes 18 inch high vine like plants with purple flower hat have overtaken everything. They are thick as heck and they are not growing anywhere else in the field. Also, nothing has touched them. Any idea what this could be growing in my plots/It doesn't look like aything on the packages.

Starr county

Chicory has a purple flower, but isn't "viney".

Might be a Vetch.  I know that they're in some blends and can be the last thing that the deer eat.  I have seen some places where it is not eaten.

Check your seed package and see what's in it.

Thanks Hardy. After doing some more research, i noticed that there is a plant called Lab Lab in two of the mixes I tried. After seeing some pictures online I think that is what has taken over all of the other plants. I'm not sure why they havent eaten it yet. They may be walking by it and just need to find it.
