Dont know what the deal is, but all that antler just doesnt look good. Dont get me wrong I would shoot a 150^ class buck in a heart beat. Wouldnt pay $2500 to do it. Seems like the symetry of the animal is gone when they get like that. The buck in center frame in these picks is just fugly. Mr. Droptine is georgeous

I really don't care if he's a 250 point B&C typical - thanks but no thanks.  I'm not convinced that the effects of genetic modification are fully known right now...I suspect that it will take a generation or two to figure that out.  And, at least to me anyway, even if its a trophy the main idea behind shooting a whitetail deer is eating the meat.  Between genetic modification and loading these things up on steroids, antibiotocs, and growth hormone like they do at a number of high fence places I'm not real comfortable in doing that.

Sorry guys but BARN YARD DEER are not my thing. Free range is my cup of tea. However I know people who hunt high fence on large tracts of land. To each his own, but watch to see if you start to grow an extra set of body parts!!!!!!!!

I agree with David. But the sad part is as long as people keep paying a ridiculous amount of money to shoot these engineered deer, they are going to continue to grow them and eventually people like myself won't be able to afford to hunt. Long live the low fence.

Looks they did grafting on the main beams as on pecan trees LOL!  I too have not much love for these engineered deer. Truly, where's the thrill?

I too am not a fan of high-fence deer...far-chase - low-fence hunts are still the way in my book!
