Any youins ever built a boat?  I am going to build my self an aluminum boat, geared towards bow fishing.  Got some preliminary prints iv drawn on my cad program.  Any body got any suggestions?  Boyancy Calculations? Set up?  etc....  I'm planning on running a merc 115 black max on it.  with a removable fan set up maybe?  Center console.  Any body ever built one, i sure could use some tips as to structural integrity etc....  Here's my ideas so far?  It is center console, flat deck with light around the perimeter for illuminating the water.

ain't never built one, but I have one.  My partners and I are about to try to build one out of a pontoon just to see how she'll float.  I've got a 20X60 aluminum CC, 70 hp Johnson, 28hp Kawasaki fan motor pushing a 58" fan prop, with 4-150W HPS lights, and 3-400W HPS lights.  If I can figure out how to post pics on here when I get home, I will

A good friend of mine did actually attempt to do this around six months or so ago. The boat didnt actually look too bad but it barely floated and was majorly unstable! As far as I know he pretty much gave up on it, bit of a shame :)
