Big Troy rolled in to town on Tuesday, with his posse in tow. We all met up and had a little Mexican food there in Madisonville, and then it was on to the ranch. We got to the headquarters and and fitted them with helments and goggles. Then a brief run down on the AR's and scopes.
We then head on out and pull into the first field, not 200 yards in, we see a little bunch of them rooting suckers. The wind had us, but we adapted and overcome that obsticle, and stalked up on them and got one down. Ok guys that was a warm up, so back to the Ranger Crew we go. We hit our road and find a boar with a sounder group out a couple of hundred yards from where we stopped. We stalk them and wack five and a yote. Take a few pics and load back up, holy cow there is another bunch in the field now. So we stalk them and get four more, we take them to the picture taking spot, hence the title Pile-O-Pigs.
Now trying to leave the field for the third time we spot another lone boar, we got so close to him, it was a chip shot for this night opps crew. Snap a pic or two and away we go. A quarter of a mile ride in the Ranger, BAM, another big boar, this one tried to elude us, but in the end he felt the burn of the .308. A few more pics and we are off to the hog den. Well the wind has us again, but we managed one more boar.
One of T's guys had to drive to Florida that morning, so we called the hunt. Final talley for the night, 13 hogs and a pasture poodle.

3 night total for those couple of fields, 49 hogs and 4 yotes.
