I'm no expert, but I would say:

1. too young, let him walk

2. He won't make the 13" rule (not sure if that applies to Harris)

That looks like possibly 3 yr old base mass. Lots of height, but no width....Probably never have good width. Missing or realy weak brow tines. In my view he will indeed get bigger but will never be what you would call a "trophy". Eat him while he still tastes good.

Let him walk, age changes everything. My friend has a breeding facility and I have seen a deer that was born late and injure a leg at 3 yrs then at 5 end up hitting the 180" range. The only way the new is he was very tame and they named him lucky because they didn't cull him. Huge typical 12 point now. We have no idea what they will be untill that magical 5-6 year range. After their bones stop growing that growth goes to the antler. You cant manage bucks by shooting 3 year old,tight faced deer. The bottom line is if you have to ask, let em walk. Your herd will benefit from this concept. Sorry bout the long thread, just good advice.

Sorry, the deer mentioned above was a 110" at 3 years.

And that deer cant be over 2 or 3. And still growing. What him and supplement them with protein feed instead of corn and what what happens. Please keep us posted.

after seeing the big bucks 100yrds away from this stand. I will let him walk. check out how big the deer are from the same lease on my thread     " summer bucks, and let me know what you think"

let him walk. I dont think he will ever be anything but i dont know the bucks in ur area.  If u agree take him now.

In my humble opinion this deer may be 2 years old but by body structure no much more. With velvet on the antlers you get a mistaken perception of the true antler appearance, they'll look like they have decent mass but rarely do. I personally would not shoot that buck, give him another year or two and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised by his appearance. When that timeframe rolls around if his antlers maintain the same appearnce they have presently I wouldn't hesitate to cull him.

I had this deer wind me lastnite. he has a 20 in  neck now. His body wieght is unbelievable.  right after that. I grunted and ratlled, only to see 2 8pts getting ready to lock horns behind my stand. no goood shot.

I think the 6pt is alot older that I thought
