I had 4 .40 cal. mags with springs so stiff I couldn't ever load more than 7 rnds.  A gunsmith recommended this mag loader.  He said it wasn't cheap ($30) but it works.  I took his advice and I have to say it worked out fine;  loaded all 4 mags to max 14 rnd. capacity.  To see how it works just go to Uplula.com.  Even with practice I doubt I'll ever load as quickly as the video but it does work well and is easily dropped into your range bag.  Bought mine thru Cabela's.

The gunsmith who gave me the tip was from Carter's Country  in Houston so they must carry them.  I got mine @ Cabela's because I'm lazy and all you need to do is push a few buttons and a box shows up in a few days.  Now if i could only find ammo to load...
