AMISTAD 
Water clear; 85 degrees; 0.83' high. Black bass to 9 pounds are good on watermelon seed, watermelon red, and green pumpkin crankbaits and soft plastics in 18 - 20 feet. Striped bass are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Catfish to 6 pounds are good on trotlines and juglines baited with live perch. Yellow catfish are good on trotlines and juglines baited with live perch. BROWNWOOD 
Water stained; 83 degrees; 6.46' low. Black bass are excellent on Ribbits, Horny Toads, Bass Hogg buzzbaits and spinnerbaits over grass flats and among stickups, and on redbug and watermelon red Grande Bass 4" finesse worms with chartreuse tails around docks and near the rocks. Hybrid striper are good on shad in Hybrid Alley. White bass are excellent on Li'l Fishies and Persuader crankbaits off lighted docks at night. Crappie are good on minnows and Li'l Fishies in 8 - 14 feet. Channel catfish are good on trotlines baited with live bait in 8 - 12 feet. Yellow catfish are good on trotlines baited with live bait.

BUCHANAN 
Water clear; 83 degrees; 19.67' low. Black bass are good on Texas rigged grape Scoundrel worms, flukes, and watermelon JDC Skip-N-Pop topwaters along stumps on sloping island points and secondary points of pockets in 5 - 15 feet at daylight. Striped bass are fair on Red Fins, Zara Jr's, and trolling Gizz 4 crankbaits from Lighthouse Point to the dam on the surface at daylight. White bass are slow to fair trolling Shad Raps and jigging Pirk Minnows and Tiny Traps over rock piles in 20 - 30 feet. Crappie are good on minnows and Curb's crappie jigs over brush piles. Channel catfish are good on live bait and dip bait. Yellow and blue catfish are very good on juglines and Trotlines baited with goldfish and perch upriver above the falls.

CADDO 
Water off color; 85-93 degrees; 0.29' high. Black bass are good on soft plastic frogs and Texas rigged worms fished around pads. Crappie are fair on minnows along the river channel. White bass are good in the river channel. Catfish are excellent on trotlines set with earthworms. Bream are fair on crickets and red wigglers the in shallows.

CALAVERAS 
Water stained; 82 degrees. Black bass are slow. Striped bass are fair on spoons and striper jigs between the dam and the crappie wall in 15 feet, and on chicken livers and shad along the shoreline. Redfish are excellent down rigging silver and gold spoons and live bait along the crappie wall and the dam in 10 - 20 feet, on live perch and tilapia along the shoreline, and on live bait along the crappie wall. Crappie are slow. Channel catfish are excellent on liver, cheesebait, and shad near the railroad trestle. Blue catfish are excellent on liver and cut bait. Yellow catfish are slow.

CANYON LAKE 
Water clear; 82 degrees; 13.36' low. Black bass are fair on Pop R's, crankbaits, and Flukes upriver along shorelines with lay downs and stumps in 4 - 8 feet at daylight. Striped bass are slow drifting live bait and trolling Gizz 4 and Shad Rap crankbaits on downriggers over 40' humps. White bass are slow. Smallmouth bass are good on root beer JDC grubs and craws, chartreuse plastic Crickets, and watermelon red tubes on ball jigheads along ledges in 6 - 20 feet. Crappie are fair to good on Curb's crappie jigs and live minnows upriver over submerged brush piles along channel breaks in 8 feet. Channel catfish are slow. Yellow and blue catfish are very good on juglines and trotlines upriver.

CEDAR CREEK 
Water lightly stained; 86-89 degrees; 0.38' low. Black bass are fair early on topwaters, midday switching to flukes fished around grass. White bass are very good on Humdingers and 1.5 to 2 oz. slabs. Hybrid striper are fair on Sassy Shad early. Crappie are fair on minnows over brush piles. Catfish are very good drifting cut shad.

CHOKE CANYON 
Water clear; 85 degrees; 7.74' low. Black bass to 5 pounds are good on deep running crankbaits and white/chartreuse spinnerbaits. Crappie are slow. Drum are fair on nightcrawlers. Channel and blue catfish are fair on cut bait and punchbait. Yellow catfish are good on juglines baited with perch.

COLEMAN 
Water clear; 84 degrees; 7.96' low. Black bass are fair on watermelon red and watermelon green spinnerbaits and soft plastics. Hybrid striper are fair on live shad.
