Did some bullet cross sections,so I thought I'd pass this on.

1- 150gr 7mm Winchester Power Point. One thing I noticed different, was the jacket was an alloy that was harder and appeared to be more like bronze.

2- 139gr 7mm Hornady Interlock

3- 139gr 7mm Hornady SST.You can see it's designed for rapid expansion.

4- 139gr 7mm Hornady Interbond.Very thick jacket and small lead core. Now I see how this thing can smash through a lot of bone and keep on going.

5- 140gr 7mm Nosler Accubond. You can see the controlled expansion design, which makes it quite different from it's ballistic tip kin.

6- 150gr 7mm Nosler Ballistic Tip.For the heavyweight of the ballistic tips,it has quite a bit thinner jacket than it's lighter weight brothers of this design.Nosler had to do this to keep the length down because lead is heavier than copper.

7- 120gr 7mm Nosler Ballistic Tip.This little light weight has a much heavier jacket than it's 150gr big brother.Like they say, seeing is believing. This make explain why some folks like ballistic tips and some don't,they are not all created equal.

Hope ya'll find this interesting,I know I did.
