IDEA

Okay this is a great video from Luke Clayton demonstrating how the Ghost Blnd works in the field.  Luke even draws on a whitetail (no arrow) and bowhunts a hog just to show you how close the animal will get and how well the blind works.

I gotta say I'm really thinking about puttin' some money down on one of these.

Has anyone else on the website bought one yet?  If so what was your experience?

Shooting a nearly blind hog from any blind proves nothing.I've regularly stalked up to within 10 ft to 10 yards of up to 40 hogs. As long as they don't smell you, you got 'em where you want 'em.

The blind looks flimsy and awkward. What happens if a big wind blows it down or you bump it over trying to get ready for a shot.

Luke Clayton here: Just a few facts about the ghost blind. Deer are about as 'spooky' as any critter I've hunted and as an outdoors writer, I've hunted a lot. See the deer up in front of the blind? The blind is  light and portable, NOT an 800 pound box blind, setting in a permanent position. I've found the blind very stable, It comes with 3 tie-downs. The wind was whistling on this hunt and it stayed put. I've put the blind to use, as have other veteran hunters. It works.

True, Hogs don't have the keen eyesight of deer but they are quiet sensitive to movement. I was raised between the Red and Sulphur rivers in ne Texas and have hunted them all my life. Used to guide hog hunters when the sport became popular to the masses a couple decades ago. Here's wishing you happy hunting!
