Garrett,
Who's hitting and running here? Have I disappeared for 5 months? You can't hang when the truth comes out so you flail away with a few insults, try to pull everyone into a Republican-Democrat mud slinging contest, then disappear back into wherever.
Soldiers are giving their lives in Iraq because they are following orders and they love their country. By the way...if you're so concerned, where is that big Iraq pullout we were promised?
The Afganistan business isn't finished because war against cowards isn't always completed the minute someone snaps their fingers...by the way, what has Mr. Obama done to help the matter? Are our troops still there? Another broken promise (not that I think that its the right thing to do mind you, but if a man is going to make big swelling promises he ought to evaluate the situation a little more closely). When are the troops going to get their reinforcements they asked for? Are you going to try to tell me that the generals over there don't know what they're doing and that only Obama knows?
We lost these industries because of a combination of government regulation and to some degree corporate (and union) greed. Bailing them out and having the government in effect run them is not only wrong, its unconstitutional.
What happen before 9/11? Ask Clinton. He had Obama dead to rights and didn't act, then lobbed a few cruise missles into Afganistan for cosmetic effect.
There are no bullets at the stores for a combination of factors. One is that people are hoarding them because they fear what Mr. Obama and Eric Holder will do to the ability to buy it (read what has happened in California the last couple of weeks...another back door to gun registration through fingerprinting requirements for the purchase of ammo). There are also fewer government plants making ammunition these days so most of that responsibility now has fallen on the private sector...hence during wartime sporting ammunition is not as available. In fact, if you'll do some real research (not the CNN kind) you'll find there are many that believe this has been coming for a couple years.
You last comment rambles so there's no sense addressing it.
See there? Questions really can be answered correctly and succinctly. But, I'm afraid you're not really interested in answers, you're just looking for a venue to start ranting. And I expect you reply will show that very thing...I really don't think you can help it.
My beef with what you've said on this site concerns Obama and the Second Amendment, not politics per se. Try as you might Obama's position on the 2nd Amendment via his own words and voting record is clear, no matter how you try to spin it. Eric Holder's postion on the second amendment for his comments and history is clear. You want to make this a Democratic/Republican discussion which is nebulous at best. Considering the voting record of those that are in control of Congress the Second Amendment is in obvious peril.
Its time to wake up - you elected a marxist to the White House (notice I didn't say a democrat) and you were dead wrong to vote for him.
