TURKEY

Is it common for turkeys to gobble in the fall? I heard about 5 or 6 different gobblers at sunrise the other morning up in the grasslands. The day after Thanksgiving I saw about 20 turkeys...2 toms and about 17 or 18 hens.

The turkeys on my place gobble every morning when coming off the roost. I watched two toms strutting last weekend. I think its to show dominance no matter the time of year.
