Game Cam at Feeder - What is this animal?

I have a personal 1000 acre no-fenced ranch in Medina county.  We've seen plenty of the typical hogs, whitetail, Aoudad, random Axis and Blackbuck, but I've never seen something like this.

I put out a Game Cam the other day to see what was coming in, and I have a mystery animal it seems.  My best guess is Elk, but you tell me what you think.  The last picture is of a small whitetail buck to give you some perspective of the larger animal.   The picture quality sucks...sorry.

Elk looks like a pretty good guess to me.  Maybe you'll get some better pictures.

I would guess elk, doesn't look long enough to be a horse.

hopefully you can get another picture to clarify it.  i would guess elk or red stag from that picture.  are elk considered free ranging in your county.

I will be heading back out to the hunting lease this week to get the new set of game cam pics...I hung the camera a little higher and closer this time to try and get a better shot.

Tuffish, No, Elk are not regularly free ranging in central or south Texas.  We do have hundreds of high fenced ranches in the area and this one must have busted through the fence.  I had some Alfalfa sitting in the feeder pen for the Aoudad...it seems this guy likes it as well.

thanks for everyone's input...I really think we have an elk on our hands...hopefully, I'll get a shot on him soon, in the day light, and will repost any new pics I get.

So, I've picked up my Game Cam again this week for new photos, and...we have an Elk.  Here are the latest photos from my no-fence lease in Medina County.  Also, a good deer photo that I took as well.

I think you would get alot more traffic to your feeder if you would move it off that hellacious slope :)

Guns don't kill people....Its those pesky little bullets making lots of holes that all the blood leaks out of.

Elk of course!  I don't know what the rules are but you should take him.
