Deer were moving everywhere. Counted 6 bucks and 7 doe this morning. My buddy George got this 8 pointer. He drove from San Antonio last night and hunted for an hour this morning before bagging this.

wow! I am supremely jealous! I worked my butt off and finally saw 2 deer in shit so thick i couldnt see 10 yards in front of me...:worship: I'm not worthy! I'm not worthy! Would you please give an eager 23 year old aspiring hunter some well needed advice? Do you still hunt? If so in a tree stand? I don't get it i walked and stalked 4 days and didnt see a dang thing...

maybe i was in the wrong area...i was at 1791 and that first county road on the left where that northwest camp site is, mostly hunted that section of woods and spent a lot of time scouting...still hunting bores me but if thats what it takes i guess ill try more of that, i still hunted hte pipeline 3 mornings in a row and never saw a thing though.
