Funny Bobby, I do low voltage electronics: fire, security, cctv, access, nurse call, sound etc. I even must deal with elevator guys from time to time. We must interface to other systems such as HVAC, sprinklers, access, elevators, gates, phones, whatever.
By the way Bobby those deer on I-45 appear to be eating prickly lettuce.

Prickly lettuce, huh? I can't believe you remembered that! To this day, I have never seen so many deer eating along an interstate.
Wouldn't mind a plot full of that stuff.
Keep yer eyes peeled!

Oilfield...jack of all trades, master of none.
At times you could call me a generalist...I know less and less about more and more until I know nothing about everything.
Other times you could call me a specialist...I know more and more about less and less until I know everything about nothing.

While BigMike calls it Criminal Abatement Specialist, I call what I do Societal Waste Management. I'm betting they are one in the same. Besides, it sounds more important than saying, "I'm a cop".

SORRY FOR THE HIGHJACK GUYS
Wingdinger, I was fortunate enough several years ago to be good enough to be offered several scholarships to play baseball. I was a pitcher and had an opportunity to go to Baylor where my family has a 100 year tradition, but I would have had to go to McClennan CC for a year due to scholarship constraints. Well, I was 18 years old and on the verge of being drafted and I let pride get in my way. Also like many other 18 yr olds like me I didn't listen to a thing my parents said. I ended up going to Sam Houston St. where my best friend happened to be going. I turned down the Baylor deal, MCC, Ranger, Houston, Creighton, OK Baptist, AR State, UTA, DBU, just to name the ones I can remember right now. I was told by several MLB scouts before I signed that they expected me to go between rounds 20 and 35 in the draft. Well I don't know if you have seen the signing bonuses for those rounds, but they aren't chump change. I got a HUGE head. I waited to sign the National letter of intent and continued playing summer league waiting for a better offer. Mom and Dad thought it was best for me to take the deal at Baylor/MCC, mostly because of the support network I would have there. But "I" was making the decision for "me"(not a good idea). 2 weeks later I was playing in a tourney in Abilene. I was at 3rd with a nice leadoff, pitch went in the dirt and to the backstop, I took off! The ball then kicked off the concrete at the bottom of the fence and right into the catchers mitt. I planted my rt foot to go back to third but my femur kept going. I blew out my ACL/ MCL and all of the cartilage was shredded. My scholarship was still there; the draft wasn't and was never to come. Long story..I know...but looking back I wish I had just listened to my parents. The measure of maturity is knowing when to ask for advice. Good luck to you, I'm sure with your foundation you will do fine.

I am looking at OK baptist. I just hope i can play juco someplace. I play mid infield and pitch some. My problem is that i am small and don't get the notice even though i have never fielded below .923 and hit below .329. At a showcase at OSU, the scouts rated my hands and footwork a perfect 5.
Heck, i will play for free. I just want to play. We will see what happens my senior year.
