I would appreciate any prayers you could swing my family's way. I just recieved notification Friday that I am being deployed to Iraq again in August.  My wife, God bless her, is one of the strongest women I've ever known.  My mother, however, is not going to take it very well.  My wife thinks I'm part of a government conspiracy. She wants to know how I have managed to get deployed both times just as our children are entering the terrible-twos.  My son just now being 19 months will never know what happened. My daughter will turn 5 soon, I'm not sure how well she'll do with it. She's a bit of a daddy's girl. Y'all have seen the pics of her hunting and fishing trips with me, I just hope a year or more without getting to do much outdoors activity won't dull her interest. Any way just thought I'd make this request.  

Guns don't kill people....Its those pesky little bullets making lots of holes that all the blood leaks out of.

I wish you the best of luck on deployment, the draw back is I feel your pain.  August 23 I head for Ft. Lewis, Washington to process before heading to Iraq myself. 

I will say a prayer for you and your family and will ask the same.  Keep your head down and eyes open..

Thomas, I'll be gone for a little over a year. I head to Ft. Stewart, GA in mid August then it will be late Oct or early Nov before I head to Iraq.

Bobby, I wont be back for the next Duck season, but I'll be back in time for the '09 season.

Robert, I'll gladly trade prayers with you. Is this your first trip, or have you been over before?

My son has been in Iraq about 2 months- Marines.  Just got back from a mission & will be on Security Detail around the base camp for a few weeks.  Then back out.  He says he will be returning to TwentyNine Palms in mid / late October.
