Thanks to everyone especially Hardy and THF. It was a great contest. I could kick myself for being way off on one deer, but no one is perfect. I hope we do this next year so we can get some more input. Dan, as the saying goes "don't sing it, bring it"! just kidding, I hope someone else gets it next year but I will try to go all exact if we have another one. Anyway, I hope everyone enjoyed the contest and above all learned something from it. This should be about learning and having fun.

I really enjoyed it guys and hopefully we can do it again next season. If you want to try and start it earlier to get everyone "tuned up" for the season, we can do that too.

Great Exercise and very fun!  The anticipation of the results was the worst!  Congrats to you SUPERG and a big thanks to you Hardy and THF.  That a great DVD and can't wait to get it!

There were 3 members who participated in at least 10 out of the 11 weeks and ended with less than 40% accuracy.

More amazing that there was someone who got 7 exactly right and only missed 3 by a year.

out of curiosity, how many participated in the contest?

About 60-65 people participated in the contest. Some people only guessed the age of one or two deer though. There were about 40 people who guessed at least 8 out of the 11 weeks.

Hardy - great idea...the more practice the better.  There's probably more than a few on this board that'll get in on this.  Think about how close it'll be next year!

Hey guys and gals. I just wanted to say that I got the gift card and the dvd. I haven't had a chance to see the dvd yet but I'm sure I will enjoy it. My wife claimed the card . She said something about me having too much hunting and fishing stuff, although I don't know if that's really possible. I took a vaction to Ruidoso NM. almost 2 weeks ago now. It was awsome and I plan to do a brief write-up and post some pics. Anyway, thanks again to all.
