where would be a good area on lake conroe to set up?  i have the nf permit and would like to try to duck hunt it.  any help would be appreciated.

I think you should go the the scott's ridge launch on 1097 across the lake about one mile.

launch boat an head up Caney creek.  Bring a long pole because the grass is thick where you need to be.  Go up caney about two bends in the creek.  then pole your way as far as you can.. Setup on the right side.
