If you are looking for a great "hunt" for good quality animals, with really nice quarters, you really don't need to look any further than the Dos Plumas Ranch. Also, if you are considering bringing out a friend or family member who is new to rifle or bow hunting, or you want to introduce a child to hunting, you will find the owners patient, informative, and truly concerned that you have a great experience.

Of all the places I have been, Allen Williams has created a hunting experience that is at the top of my list to recommend to others.

Dos Plumas Ranch aka "The Workings Man's Ranch," owned & operated by Allen Williams & Family.

They have the right idea but don't have the size of hogs needed to keep it up for long.  The hogs were flat out tiny. Also charging for "wet" sows is a joke if they are the only hogs on the place over 100 pounds.

Really? If you want BIG hogs running all over the place, go pay a BIG price. And of course, all the big hogs that are on the place are the first to be shot which leaves the little ones. And shooting a "wet" sow is just like shooting a pregnant dow. Its the breeding stock. When did you hunt Dos Plumas?

Caveat Emptor is my advice.  They book as many hunters as possible and hence the property gets too much pressure.  The hogs were small as stated above.
