San Marcos -

If you are interested in becoming a trained volunteer to support the Texas Youth Hunting Program, this is one of many events around the state, which will provide you with the training you need.  The Huntmaster Workshop mirrors a typical weekend youth hunt from Friday evening registration and orientation to wrap up around noon on Sunday.

There is room at the historic Freeman Ranch Lodge for cots and air mattresses, but no formal lodging.  Meals, beverages and snacks are provided, along with an intense workshop experience.

Cost is $55 for members of the Texas Wildlife Association or $90 for non-members, which includes an Associate TWA membership.

Please visit www.tyhp.org and search for Huntmaster Workshop for registration.  For more information, please contact TYHP at 800-460-5494.
