Mark your calendars and plan to attend! This will be another great event! This is a fun, combined social event with Austin Woods and Water that's all about YOU, our members. Our special guest speaker will be Ivan Carter, a professional hunter and guide from Zimbabwe that has become recognized as one of the best in the business. We hope to see all of you at this great event.

Ivan Carter was born in Zimbabwe and grew up surrounded by wildlife. One thing that is apparent to all who have met and heard Ivan speak is that he has a passionate love for the wilderness of Africa and everything in it. His enthusiasm is contagious and his knowledge of flora and fauna is astounding. When hunting with or being guided by Ivan, you will be educated on every aspect of the environment. He truly offers a refreshing look at the world of Big Game hunting today.

Some of Ivan's achievements include:
· Being chosen by Craig Boddington as the lead PH in the video "Boddington on Elephant"
· Co-hosting the new series Hornady's Africa on The Sportsman Channel
· Many awards for his photography
· Recognition by top publications as being "One of Africa's Best"
· Seminars at Stanford University on elephant management
· Examiner status at the Zimbabwe guides and hunter's exams
· Working with the US marine corps training on tracking and observation
· Speaking at seminars around the country on elephant hunting and management.

Accompanying Ivan will be Dan Catlin, General Manager of the Wildlife Gallery Taxidermy Studio, who will be talking about how to make the most of your big game mounts.

Special Drawing for Ruger Model 77 Hawkeye African Rifle Chambered in .375 Caliber.   Tickets for drawing will be available at the event!
