Dallas Gun Club -

Star Children’s Charity kicks-off its second annual Star Sporting Clays Benefit with a Boots & Bling party at the Haggard Party Barn in Plano on Wednesday, October 7, 2009 followed by the Star Sporting Clay Benefit on Thursday, October 8, 2009 at the Dallas Gun Club.  Boots & Bling is casual dinner and auction featuring “experiences” guests can bid on along with Star prizes and “shopping” all to support the children of Collin County.  The Star Sporting Clays Benefit will include a shooting demonstration by the acclaimed Scott Robertson.  He is known around the world as one of the top shooters of our time with over 250 recorded victories and titles of eight-time national sporting clays champion, four-time Pam Am Sporting Clays Champion, two-time all-around Shotgun National Champion.  Scott is a pro-staff member of Beretta.[SC1]  

Star Children’s Charity is a philanthropic leadership organization dedicated to advancing the well being of children in Collin County by investing in tomorrow’s child today.   The goal of Star members, donors and sponsors raise more than $1 million dollars annually to support the beneficiary nonprofits that serve the needs of children in Collin County.

Tickets are available to attend the dinner for $75.00 each.  The Star Sporting Clays Benefit offers team sponsorships for $2,500, individual shooters for $500 and additional corporate sponsorships.  All shooters receive two Boots & Bling dinner tickets, day of shoot lunch, ammunition and gift.  Prizes will be awarded after the tournament for various competitions, as well as a first place prize of a Berretta gun donated by Beretta Gallery of Highland Park[SC2] . [SC3]
