Central Zone -

Texas Regular Dove Season Starts

Central Zone:  September 1 through October 25, 2009 and
                       December 26 through January 9, 2010

  Daily Bag Limit:  15*
Possession Limit:  30

*In all zones, the daily bag limit can include no more than 2 white-tipped (white-fronted doves). The possession limit on white-tipped doves is twice the daily bag limit.

In addition to a hunting license, a migratory game bird stamp endorsement ($7) is required to hunt any migratory game bird, including mourning dove.
