Kerr WMA Hunt Texas -
The Kerr WMA offers seminars free to the interested public on the first Friday of each month in August, September, and October. Seminars include an ecosystems approach as it pertains to range and wildlife habitat management. Topics discussed include white-tailed deer management, grazing management, prescribed burning and brush control as well as how these management techniques effect threatened and endangered species. The program also includes over 30 years of deer nutrition and genetics research conducted in the Donnie E. Harmel White-tailed Deer Research Facility. Upcoming seminars are scheduled for August 7th, September 4th, and October 2nd. Each program will begin at 1:00 pm and run until 5:00 pm.
